Subject of Complaint :not able project laptop ppt. through hdmi to vga-”frequency out of range”

Complaint Details : i am having Dell laptop with out rgb/vga output hence i have to connect to sony LCD projector through HDMI to vga convertor. But the problem now is that whenever i tried to connect to projector its saying “frequency out of range”….. Plz verify the issue and help me out as early as possible…i have spoken to Dell people they are telling its the problem from projector, not from their side…it might be true as its working fine with other projectors (Benq, epson, Mac)…
Revert me back as early as possible,
